About Old Hickory Credit Union
We’re a community-based credit union located in Old Hickory, Tennessee. We were orginally chartered by the DuPont company, but we now serve more than 160 other companies, as well as individuals from the Nashville area and surrounding counties.
Our staff bloggers are Malinda Warchus and Dan Mellor. Malinda has been a member of Old Hickory Credit Union since 1982, and a staff member since 1990. She is a third generation Old Hickory member. Malinda holds a BA from the University of Tennessee in English Literature and loves reading (of course!) and horses.
Dan Mellor joined Old Hickory’s staff in 1999. He works in Old Hickory’s Information Technology Department, but isn’t your usual computer guy. He’s a talented graphic artist, too, and he entertains us with his “doodles”. Dan is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University.

I have had an account with OHCU since it was opened up to area code 37138.
My experience with OHCU has for the most part been great. The people have always been very helpful and most of all in a very friendly and kind way.
My husband enjoyed doing business with you also. I wish I could acknowledge the individuals, but I don’t remember their names, but I certainly remember the smiling faces. Jerrell enjoyed the ease of doing business when he went there.
I am really excited about the new Premier Account that I just converted to.
Now for the part that I was not happy with and that is when the credit card business was changed about 2 years ago, so that is a service that I have not used in a while and hope not to have to.
I conduct all my business with the main branch in Old Hickory, TN. I have taken advantage of all the services offered by Old Hickory Credit Union.
I hope that you continue to provide us with the same positive service in the future.

I’ve always believed in the power of the people and when OHCU opened there branch in Greenbrier. I could’nt wait to take my husband over and open a account. He was reluctant in joining. But on one Friday night while sitting around I suggested we roll all the change in a large jug we had. It ended up being more than either of us ever amagined. So the
next morning we agreed to go and open a savings account at
OHCU.
Just to put it in short, know we have all our business with these ladies and visit them weekly. And for my sons birthday I took him to the OHCU and introduced him to the ladies and opened him a checking and savings account as a gift. Since then he is more responsible with his finances and savings is a
priority of his now.
Ladies and Gentleman THANK YOU!!! For all you do, not only for me and my family, but all the members and our communities within your reach. This is what banking business is suppose to be about. People helping people.

Old Hickory Credit Union is so important not only to my family but the community.
The people are so very professional but have the ability to make you feel that you belong and are welcomed.
Questions are always answered with satisfaction and I always feel that they have our best interest at heart.
My husband and I are proud to be a part of a highy professional and secured Credit Union.
They are also involved with the community and this is very rewarding to all who benefit from their services.
I look forward to many years with the Old Hickory Credit Union.
